My current PhD project aims understand principles of synaptic plasticity and circadian neurobiology underlying memory consolidation processes. This will be done using transgenic mouse lines, viral labelling strategies and novel protein detection assays, which together will provide the spatio-temporal precision required to model recently formed synaptic connections.
